Fifteen of the crypto casinos UK players are most often pointed to were checked on 21 August 2026 against two things: the restricted-countries clause in each operator’s own terms, and the register of the regulator each one names. Thirteen of the fifteen prohibit players from the United Kingdom in their own terms. Most comparison sites list those same thirteen as good choices for UK players.
One name on the list turns out to hold a Gambling Commission licence for a separate British site. That is the short answer to the question this page exists to ask, and it is at the top for that reason.

rollbit.co.uk is real and it is licensed in Great Britain, but not by Rollbit. The Gambling Commission’s public register lists the domain under account 57869, Grace Media (Gibraltar) Limited, of Sovereign Place, 117 Main Street, Gibraltar — and marks it «White Label», one of 71 domains on that one licence. The licence itself, 057869-R-334655-009, is Active and covers Casino Remote and Bingo Remote since 9 March 2022, gambling software since 14 May 2024, and real-event and virtual-event betting since 13 June 2025.
What that buys a UK player is concrete: GamStop self-exclusion, the Commission’s complaints route, and deposit limits — none of which exists offshore. What it costs is the reason most readers went looking offshore in the first place: a UKGC licence means full identity verification and, in practice, no cryptocurrency deposits.
The honest caveat, from the same register: Grace Media was fined £60,000 by the Gambling Commission on 26 June 2025. The register records breaches of Social Responsibility Code Provision 3.5.3 (self-exclusion) and 5.1.11 (direct marketing consent), notes that the licensee co-operated, and attributes the failure to «human error in the application of these policies and procedures». A regulated operator that got something wrong and was penalised for it is still a different proposition from an unregulated one — the penalty is itself the evidence that somebody is watching.

What a country ban actually means in practice
It does not mean the site refuses to load. A UK player can reach every casino on this page, register, deposit and play. That is exactly why the clause matters: nothing goes wrong until you try to take money out.
Withdrawals are where the country you live in gets checked. Two of the fifteen publish the number at which that happens — Cloudbet at cumulative deposits of USD $2,200, and Bitcasino and Sportsbet at withdrawals above €2,500, in identical wording. The rest reserve the right to ask at any time without naming a threshold. When documents are requested and they show a UK address, the restricted-countries clause is already in the terms you agreed to.
Several operators spell out what happens then. Cloudbet, clause 11.4:

Bitcasino and Sportsbet share a clause 3.3 that is blunter about the order of events — the winnings go, the deposit comes back:

Gamdom names the tools directly: «If you attempt to access our services from any of these jurisdictions, including by using false information, VPNs, proxies, or similar tools, your Account may be restricted.»
Vave is the instructive one, because its two clauses point in opposite directions. Clause 6.3 says a VPN is fine:
Using VPN is not restricted, however, it may lead to malfunction of games or connection issues. The client is solely responsible in the event that the VPN connection can lead to loss of money or misallocation of bets.

Clause 3.6, three sections earlier, says the country ban stands anyway — and attaches the consequence to withdrawals rather than to access:
Players from Belarus, Curacao, Estonia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, United Kingdom, United States of America, Cyprus, France, Turkey, Netherlands are prohibited from playing real money wagering games at Vave. So the tool that gets you in is not the tool that gets you paid. Access and withdrawal are two separate checks, and only the first one is easy. That is the whole of the risk, stated in the operators’ own words.
What the registers show when you actually open them
A licence number in a footer is not a fact about a casino. It is a claim that can be checked, and checking it is most of what this page is. Four findings came out of doing that, and none of them appears on the comparison sites that list these same brands.
Curaçao publishes two registers that contradict each other
The Curaçao Gaming Authority runs a certificate portal at cert.cga.cw, searchable by domain, and separately publishes the full register as a PDF reissued every few days. Both are official. For the same licence numbers they say different things.

The company numbers match in every row; only the dates, the statuses and in one case the company form differ. This is not an operator misrepresenting itself — it is the regulator’s own two systems disagreeing. Which means a screenshot of either one proves less than it looks like it does, and any site that calls a licence «verified» without saying which register it opened has told you very little.
Two casinos are in the register in a way they do not advertise
BC.Game. The certificate portal returns a page headed «Revoked» for bc.game: Small House B.V., company number 164979, licence OGL/2023/118/0060, granted 04/03/2024, current status Revoked. That licence does not appear in the PDF register at all. BC.Game today points to an Anjouan licence instead, and the Anjouan register does list bc.game alongside seventeen other domains held by Twocent Technology Limited. Both things are true at once: a current offshore licence, and a revoked one the site does not mention.
Gamdom. The certificate portal returns «Not Active — This domain has been removed from the registry» for gamdom.com. Gamdom’s own help centre says it «is licensed and regulated by the Curaçao Gaming Authority». Its Anjouan entry, ALSI-152406043-FI4, is marked «valid» with an expiry date of 29 June 2026 — nearly two months before this check.
Two casinos hold a second licence they never mention
Metaspins publishes ALSI-202606048-FI2 on its homepage and nothing else. The Curaçao portal also ties metaspins.com to OGL/2024/1063/0437, Metaspins N.V., company 160102, Active. TrustDice publishes its Curaçao number; the Anjouan register separately lists trustdice.win under ALSI-202605020-FI1, held by Satoshi Labs Ltd, to 14 May 2027 — a different company from the Satoshi Gaming Group N.V. named on the Curaçao certificate.
Holding two licences is not wrong in itself. Not saying so is what makes the disclosure incomplete, and it means the entity you would be contracting with is not the one the footer names.
One casino has no licence at all
Vave names no regulator, no licence number, no company and no registered address — not in the footer, not in the terms, not in the privacy policy, not on the About page. Throughout the terms the operator is only ever «the Company». Searching the Curaçao portal for vave.com returns «No results found.» There is a vavegame.io in the Anjouan register under Neomatrix Ltd; it is a different domain and does not cover vave.com. The single trust mark in Vave’s footer links to a crypto-gambling foundation, which is not a regulator.
How this was checked
Three registers, all read on 21 August 2026, all public and all reproducible.
- Curaçao Gaming Authority certificate portal — cert.cga.cw/search takes a domain and returns a Certificate of Operation naming the operating company, its Curaçao company number, the licence number, the grant date and the current status. Each of the fifteen domains on this page was searched there individually.
- Curaçao PDF register — reissued every few days; the edition used here is dated 20 August 2026 and carries 627 licences. It lists licence number, company, B2B/B2C, company registration number, issue date, expiry and status, and no domains at all — which is why the certificate portal, not the PDF, is the one that can answer «is this website covered».
- Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority — the register is embedded in the page as data, 1,491 entries, each with a domains field.
- UK Gambling Commission public register — account 57869 read in full, including the domain-names list (71 entries, rollbit.co.uk among them, marked White Label) and the regulatory-actions page carrying the June 2025 penalty.
Three things about the offshore registers are worth carrying into any licence claim you read anywhere:
- Of the 627 licences in the Curaçao PDF, 288 sit at «Assessment in progress», 48 are marked Revoked and 32 Expired. A number in a footer says nothing about current standing.
- 164 of the 627 were issued on one day, 24 December 2025. Issue dates there are re-registration dates under the new Curaçao regime, not the date a casino opened — so «licensed since» claims built on them mean nothing.
- Every one of Anjouan’s 1,491 entries is marked «valid», including 290 whose expiry date has already passed. That status field does not distinguish current from lapsed.
On access: Bitz, Vave, BitStarz, Metaspins, Bitcasino, Sportsbet and Rollbit’s help centre were read directly. Cloudbet, Stake, TrustDice and Duelbits sit behind protection that returns 403 to direct requests, and their clauses were read through a rendering service pointed at the operator’s own URL. 7BitCasino blocks by region entirely; its clauses come from dated archive copies of its own pages. Gamdom’s terms page would not render, and its restricted-countries text was taken from Gamdom’s own JavaScript bundle, where the English source strings for that page are stored. Every quote above carries the URL it came from.
If a clause changes, this page is wrong until it is updated. It carries the date it was checked for exactly that reason.
